Since 1948

Scottsbluff's truck dealer
for four generations.

Floyd's started as a single repair shop in western Nebraska. Today the same family runs twelve locations across the Rocky Mountain Region — and the way we do business hasn't changed.

Our story

Built by hand. Run by the family.

Started in Scottsbluff in 1948

Floyd's opened the doors as a single repair shop in western Nebraska — back when most trucks on the road were postwar Internationals and a working diesel was still a novelty. The customers were farmers, haulers and the small handful of carriers connecting the High Plains to the rest of the country.

Why commercial trucks

Floyd never planned to stay small. As fleets grew, so did we — adding parts, then sales, then bigger shops, then more locations. Commercial trucks were the only thing the region didn't have a serious local source for. Four generations later, that's still our entire focus: heavy-duty trucks, parts, and service for the people who depend on them.

Why not just drive to Denver

Because when something breaks at 3 AM in a Wyoming snowstorm, the dealer in Denver can't help you. Our parts counters, our service bays and our sales team are all within a few hours of every route through the Rocky Mountain Region. We're the dealer you can actually reach.

The same family, four generations in

Floyd's is still owned by the Floyd family — fourth generation. Decisions are made in Scottsbluff, not at a corporate office. When you call, you talk to someone who can actually say yes.

Rooted in Scottsbluff

Floyd's didn't move headquarters to a coast or hide behind a holding company. The lot is on West 27th, the family is in town, and the people who run the business answer their phones. Western Nebraska built this dealership — and it's where we still call home.

Inventory updates daily. The doors are open Monday through Saturday.
